This has been a consistently nagging problem with Office and on, Dell, Lenovo, and HP systems. All since Windows I'm fed up with troubleshooting, repairing office, trying drivers that won't install from Intel because it is an OEM board from the mentioned manufacturers with this chipset, all in common.
This needs better addressed. I'm tired of losing work using Office. The driver crashes numerous times a day when using more than one monitor. Even if we keep all office applications on the default display. Just the simple act of clicking to edit in Outlook or Excel crashes the video driver. Did this solve your problem? I tried the Asus support driver, and also Windows Update Microsoft driver , both crash from time to time. Contacted Asus support, all their answers are useless and waste of time.
The only way that works out is prelo 's method! By default the driver will not install unless you force it. Did that for more than 10 days ago.

This seems to have worked for me, Last time I tried to check with Intel for an updated driver, it claimed I had the up to date driver and still did that today. The reason being that the newer driver I would suggest that before you download this you read the notes on the download page to see if any of the known issues are likely to affect your computer. As I said, so far it seems to have got rid of the problem I was having with the Microsoft Solitaire Collection, but I need some time to use other applications to see if there are other issues.
