Please note that it doesn't matter if the vendor provides an exe installer or uses the standard INF based installer and that it doesn't matter if the driver is manually "force" selected. I have posted it at http: As you will see, the list of impacted WLAN adapters is big.
Can you please get this to engineering's attention? Did this solve your problem? Sorry this didn't help. I too have a Lenovo G and I am experiencing the same problem. I solved it by installing a. It worked the moment I plugged it into the USB port. I am still trying to get the Realtek to work. I installed the 64bit version of the Windows 10 preview and I am going to try replace that with the 32 bit version as I noticed that Realtek driver is 32 bit.
If it works I'll post it here. They installed smoothly, and I now have a native x px on my laptop screen, and a touchpad that'll let me scroll up and down to my heart's content.
Just a sanity check here. The Lenovo G appearsto have 3 variances of the wifi adapter. Now, just to be sure, have you tried using the latest combo-driver from Lenovo and are you quite certain you have the Realtek adapter? I see they even have an Intel wifi driver listed there as well for Win 7 so there appears to be many hardware variances and I can only assume they are based on when a specific batch of units was manufactured.
No, like I said, my Toshiba laptop is fairly old , with the tech specs that you might expect, so it was never sold with Windows 8 installed, at least not that I know of. The higher version of Windows ever to have been OEM-installed on my machine was Vista, and the latest drivers you can download for this laptop are Vista's. Thing is, they DO install on more recent versions of Windows, and they did save my bacon in this case, because without them, I'd be left with a measly x pixels screen definition, and without a workable scroll on my somewhat exotic Alps touchpad As an aside, regarding this Preview, I'd say "so far, so good".
I never thought an old laptop with very poor specs would run Windows 10 at all, but it does. Tell us about your experience with our site. AlexOscar Created on October 3, I already tried updating the drivers, also deleted them and went to Realtek and installed the drivers again two times now and it still will not recognize them. When i go to Device Management and it everything is fine except the Realtek driver that is sitting there with a yellow icon to the side. The requested operation was unsuccessful.
